Financial Learning Online
Financial Learning Online is here for you to access and share information about financial learning projects for adults in Scotland.
We want to hear about projects that have engaged adult learners, that have used interesting learning approaches and materials, and that have made a positive difference to the learners' lives.
If you have been involved in developing or running such a project please click on "submit case studies" and complete the electronic form. You will also be able to upload photographs and videos as well as materials you have used. Materials will be stored on our sister resource bank, Adult Literacies Online (
www.aloscotland.com). The information will be submitted to us to moderate and we will decide whether it is appropriate for the site. We will come back to you if we need more information.
Terms and Conditions for submitting materials
- The site moderator will check all items and their decision is final.
- All contributors should ensure that they check with their employer regarding permissions for contributing the work and acknowledgements required.
- It is assumed that the contributor has obtained any necessary copyright permissions for the use of images, music etc. on materials they have submitted. This includes permissions from anyone appearing in photographs or videos.
- The contributor must accept responsibility if a breach of copyright occurs as a result of the use of these sources.
- Financial Learning Online accepts material on the basis that this is the first online publication of the material. If the materials have already been published online, please supply us with the URL where it is published and will will be happy to create a link to it.
- Financial Learning Online reserves the right to remove inappropriate materials following publication.
Copyright
Copyright remains with you as the author of any materials you submit, and users are required to cite the source when using your contributions.
The information and publications produced by the Scotland government on their own websites are subject to
Crown Copyright. Material may be reproduced without formal permission or charge for personal or in-house use only. They should never be used for profit.

When submitting information to Financial Learning Online you are accepting these Terms and Conditions, and by doing that you undertake to indemnify the Scottish Government and its employees and subcontractors against any liability arising from any breach of confidentiality, copyright or other intellectual property right resulting from materials submitted by you for publication on the Financial Learning Online website. You further undertake to indemnify the Scottish Government against all damages, losses, claims and costs (including without limitation all expenses incurred in conducting or defending any proceedings) resulting from materials published by you on this website. You must not make statements that are libelous, obscene, seek to incite racial hatred or otherwise break the laws of the United Kingdom.
The Scottish Government seeks to make sure that the information published on FLO is up to date and accurate. Collection and use of personal information
The Scottish Government is the sole owner of the information collected on
http://www.money.aloscotland.com, which is a micro-site of
www.aloscotland.com. The Scottish Government processes personal data for the purposes of aiding its work with the Scottish Ministers to improve the well-being of Scotland and its people.
Cookies and website traffic analysis
When users enter the Scottish Government's websites their computers will automatically be issued with 'cookies'. Cookies are text files which identify users' computers to the Scottish Government's server. The website then creates "session" cookies to store some of the preferences of users moving around the website, e.g. retaining a text-size preference. Cookies in themselves do not identify individual users but identify only the computer used and they are deleted on departure from the website.
